About Me
I am a Researcher and Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Shantou University, Shantou, China. I received my PhD degree in Software Engineering from South China University of Technology in 2020, advised by Professor Xiaowei Yang.
I am interested in statistical machine learning and probabilistic modeling. My research philosophy is simple and straightforward: problem --> assumption --> hypothesis space --> loss function --> optimization --> inference. Currently, my research involves designing statistical learning algorithms to solve the problems of domain adaptation and domain generalization.
